The Raptors’ roster has shifted to a more youthful movement this season and naturally so has the team’s fashion sense. The departure of Serge Ibaka has made way for the new young players like DeAndre’ Bembry and Gary Trent Jr. to showcase their wardrobe this season.
Several players around the league such as Russell Westbrook and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander have become fashion influencers. Walking off a plane or through an arena’s tunnel has truly become a fashion runway and many players treat it as an opportunity to stunt in their expensive outfits.
Pascal Siakam, DeAndre’ Bembry, and the recently acquired Gary Trent Jr. have brought out some eye-catching fits during their pregame runway arrivals. Let’s have a look at some of their best pregame fits this season.

Passing the torch
From 2016 to 2020, Ibaka was the self-proclaimed fashion king of the Toronto Raptors. But since Ibaka left for the Los Angeles Clippers in the off-season, the crown has been for the taking.
To be completely honest, nobody on the current roster has really taken that crown and rocked it the same way Ibaka did. But in reality that’s probably for the better because nobody can wear the type of outfits Ibaka wears on a nightly basis with the same confidence.
In recent years Raptors’ players like Ibaka and OG Anunoby haven’t been afraid to flaunt some bold fashion choices. Last season Ibaka partnered with Uninterrupted and Holt Renfrew to launch a six-episode digital series called ‘AVEC CLASSE’. The show made for a viral moment when Ibaka and Anunoby got into an argument about scarfs.
The buzz around the Toronto Raptors and their fashion may not be what it used to be. But the new kids on the block like Bembry and Trent are clearly trying their best both on and off the floor. Give them some time to mature and find their style and we should see better looks on both the hardwood and the runway in the seasons to come.
