With their back-to-back picks in the second round of the 2021 NBA Draft, the Toronto Raptors have selected Dalano Banton and David Johnson.
Banton is a Toronto-born 6’9″ guard who played for the Nebraska Cornhuskers this past season. He had played for Western Kentucky in 2018-19. Banton averaged 9.6 points, 5.9 rebounds and 3.9 assists in 2020-21.
Banton is also the first Canadian to be drafted by Toronto.

Johnson is a 6’5″ Louisville guard who scored 12.6 points per game while averaging 5.8 rebounds and 3.2 assists.
He shot 41.1% from the field last season with the Cardinals.
