So… that was quite the game last night, eh?
During the second quarter of the Toronto Raptors 115-102 victory over the Orlando Magic last night, Magic forward Aaron Gordon took a cheap shot on Kyle Lowry and was called for a flagrant foul.
These two have history.

Lowry took exception to the call and was held back by fellow teammate Stanley Johnson at one point. All this comes as no surprise considering Lowry and Gordon’s “bubble beef” from months ago during the NBA’s restart at Disney World in Orlando last season.
Magic head coach Steve Clifford was very critical of Lowry during his post-game interview, referencing a play from earlier in last night’s game when Lowry had an aggressive box out on Gordon.
Steve Clifford, asked about Kyle Lowry's box out that hyperextended Aaron Gordon's knee: “He hit him right in the knee, man. It’s a dangerous play. A guy could get hurt badly. The officials saw it at halftime; they told me. But again, you could hurt somebody badly doing that.”

Unfortunately, Gordon suffered a tough ankle injury in the second half of last night’s game and his status for tomorrow’s matchup is uncertain, to say the least. Gordon was seen exiting the arena on crutches.

The Raptors and Magic will face off again on Tuesday night in Orlando to finish off this back-to-back stand. Since 2018, the Raptors have played the Magic 17 times, including the five-game first-round playoff series in 2019.
Raptors looking better against a team they've played 137 times in the last two years.

Toronto has won six regular season games in a row over Orlando dating back to the 2018-2019 season, looking to make it seven tomorrow night.
